Space to slow down, make sense, and move forward
If you’re reading this, something probably hurts. Maybe you’re searching for meaning, relief, or a way to make sense of what’s been happening. I won’t rush you toward answers but support you in meeting your experience with honesty, clarity, and care. Psychotherapy offers a safe, steady place to explore what’s happening now and what’s been carried for a long time.
The aim here is to help you uncover a deeper, more authentic version of yourself, one that stands on a stronger foundation. This journey is about empowering you to find your own answers and insights.
I don’t reduce people to diagnoses. If labels or medication are part of your story, we collaborate. Often, psychotherapy helps people relate to those diagnoses in freer, more useful ways. I’m a registered student member of UKCP and work with clear, ongoing informed consent. I’m human; I make mistakes, and I’ll apologise when I do.

My Approach
Transpersonal & Integrative
No single method fits every person or every season of life. I draw on transpersonal, psychodynamic, humanistic and existential perspectives, integrating them in a way that suits your needs and pace. “Transpersonal” means we may include what gives your life meaning – values, culture, creativity, dreams, spirituality – alongside evidence-based, trauma-informed care.
Relational & collaborative
Psychotherapy rests on a real and respectful relationship. We’ll shape goals together, review as we go, and adjust the work to honour your safety, identity, background and life goals. You set the speed.
Body–mind awareness
We may notice breath, posture and sensation to help stabilise the nervous system and increase choice in moments that feel reactive or stuck.
Culture, identity & ecology
Migration stories, language, faith, community, environment, and wider world issues (such as politics, climate, and ecology) can profoundly shape how distress is felt and healed. I welcome these dimensions into the room to support regulation and insight.
Psychedelic integration
If you’ve had (or are considering) a psychedelic experience, we can prepare with intention, then process insights and emotions afterwards, grounding them in daily life and relationships.
I work within clear ethical, confidential boundaries in line with the framework of UKCP and receive regular supervision for safe, high-quality practice.
I offer therapy in English and Farsi (Persian), and I welcome people from diverse backgrounds, identities and spiritual orientations.
About Me
I am a trainee psychotherapist with more than 7 years of experience in mental health support. I am also a student member of UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy). My path to psychotherapy has involved a blend of traditional psychotherapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy, breathwork, shamanic work, and meditation. These practices have empowered me to turn inward and tend to what needs healing. I now integrate them into my work as a psychotherapist.
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I have worked in the construction sector as a consultant, leading large teams and projects. This background has given me valuable insights into organisational dynamics, authority and power relationships, arcs of personal development, and the complex interplay of personal and systemic issues.
I founded my psychotherapy practice to offer a grounded, compassionate space where depth work and everyday life can meet. My background includes extensive experience with trauma, complex developmental histories and cross-cultural transitions, and I am particularly interested in how individuals reconnect with meaning, agency, and belonging after experiencing crises or burnout.
Others often describe me as calm, attentive and understanding. I bring warmth, clear structure and room for mystery; whether that shows up as a dream image, a sudden insight, or a subtle shift in the body.
My Training & Qualifications:
- Cert. Mental Health First Aid – Mental Health First Aid England

- PG-Dip Counselling and Psychotherapy – Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE)

- Psychedelic Integration – PsyCare UK Welfare and Harm Reduction

My first degree (MEng Hons) many years ago was in Mechanical Engineering. I also have other qualifications in Project and Planning Management.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is psychotherapy with you the right choice for me?
Only you can decide if working with me is right for you. There are many therapists with various styles and approaches to psychological issues. I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation, which will allow us to explore how we would work together and for you to ask any questions about the process. For more information, you can see my blog.
How would we start?
We begin by setting up an initial consultation. Please contact me to arrange it and share your presenting issue and availability constraints. In the consultation, we can determine if we both feel comfortable working together. Following that, I will arrange for you to have an assessment so that we can map what brings you here, your hopes for therapy, any safety needs, and how we might work together. If working with me is not suitable, I would be glad to recommend other practitioners or services.
What are your fees?
My fee is £40 for both in-person and virtual sessions.
How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?
Sessions are held weekly for 50 minutes and usually at the same time. This consistency is crucial because it establishes a rhythm that enhances safety and cultivates depth.
Do you offer short-term or open-ended work?
I mainly work open-ended. What that means is that we begin without a firm end date; however, ending can be explored at any time, and is considered an important part of the therapy.
Is this trauma-informed?
Yes. We take care with pacing, stabilisation, embodiment and consent. You never have to share anything before you’re ready.
Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
Yes, but please get in touch to check current availability and formats. If you’re mainly working online, please keep in mind that meeting in person a few times a year is vital for effective therapy.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes, within professional and legal limits that we’ll discuss in our agreement (for example, serious risk of harm).
Do you work with crises?
I don’t provide emergency support. If you’re in immediate danger, contact 999 or Samaritans (116 123).
What is psychedelic integration?
It’s therapy that helps you prepare for, and integrate after, a psychedelic experience. It helps clarify intentions, process emotions and insights, and apply them safely in daily life. I do not provide or procure substances.
